1-Adamantanamine hydrochloride is a White crystal or crystalline powder.It is a symmetrical tricyclic amine, which can inhibit the penetration of virus into host cells, affect the shelling of the virus, inhibit its reproduction, and treat and prevent viral infection. In May 2012, the State Food and Drug Administration revised the instructions for over-the-counter (OTC) containing amantadine hydrochloride.

Function & Application

1) As Anti-virus medicine 

Used to make intermediate of anti-virus medicine for treating A2 type flu virus, has antipyretic effect in the clinical pharmacology;

Amend fremitus and anaesthesia of Parkinson's disease symptom.

2) As pharmaceutical intermediate

Amantadine Hcl can be used as intermeditate to  vildagliptin

3) As medicine to cure glaucoma

By blocking the NMDA receptor-mediated apoptosis, Amantadine Hcl has a great protective effect against RGC , then reduce and delay apoptosis of retinal tissue.

4) Raw material of catalyst

It can be as a raw material of catalyst to produce the new warm cataly, the applicant is very widely.
