Etodolac is a White or almost white crystalline powder.It is a pyrrolic acid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Prostaglandin synthesis is selectively inhibited at the site of inflammation. Inhibition of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) has little effect on cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and has little gastrointestinal side effects. The anti-rheumatic effect is 10 times that of aspirin, and the analgesic effect is 2 to 3 times that of aspirin: it lasts for a long time. No accumulation.

Uses3. Etodolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). Etodolac displays anti-inflammatory effects in both adjuvant arthritic and normal rats. E todolac is an anti-inflammatory; analgesic.
Uses4. For acute and long-term management of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as for the management of pain.
