pharmacological action
Cephalexin is vancomycin IV. by inhibiting the synthesis of cell walls, the cell contents expand to rupture and dissolve, so as to achieve the bactericidal effect. This product is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It has antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria. It absorbs rapidly and completely after injection, and has high bioavailability. In particular, the synergist anti-inflammatory factor is added to make the product have the effect of treating both the specimen and the treatment. Its bactericidal ability is 20 times larger than that of penicillin, 10 times larger than that of Sulfanilamide and 5 times larger than that of quinolones
Pharmacology and Toxicology
1. Cefalexin is the first generation cephalosporin. Its antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of cefothiophene, but its antibacterial activity is worse than that of the latter. Except Enterococcus and methicillin resistant Staphylococcus, most of the strains of Streptococcus pneumoniae, hemolytic streptococcus and penicillinase producing or non producing Staphylococcus are sensitive to this product. This product has good antibacterial effect on Neisseria, but the sensitivity of Haemophilus influenzae to this product is poor; this product has certain antibacterial effect on some Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella and Shigella. Other Enterobacteriaceae bacteria, Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacteroides fragilis all showed resistance to the drug. Fusobacterium and veronococcus are generally sensitive to this product, while anaerobic gram-positive cocci are moderately sensitive to this product.
2. The lethal dose of Cefalexin in mice was 2.6g/kg.
Indication
Broad spectrum antibiotics. It is mainly used for infection of Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria, such as: influenza, hemorrhagic septicemia, Streptococcosis, erysipelas, anthrax, emphysema, malignant edema, actinomycosis, necrotic bacilli, leptospirosis, etc., resulting in septic fever (41-43 ℃) or continuous low temperature (below 37 ℃), dyspepsia, drinking cold water, lethargy, walking limp Ears turn blue, tears, etc. At the same time, it is used to treat various inflammatory diseases, such as: infectious pleuropneumonia, pneumonic pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, blue ear disease, mastitis, metritis, stomatitis, urethritis and other causes of cough and asthma, dyspnea, low pregnancy, multiple stillbirth or piglet death 7-10 days after birth, redness and swelling of the breast, deterioration of the milk, decreased lactation, foot and mouth ulceration, salivation, fester and so on.
