Bacitracin is a kind of yellow or yellowish-grew powder which has a special smell.It is a polypeptide antibiotic,against Gram-positive bacteria with a bactericidal effect.The mechanism mainly inhibits bacterial wall synthesizing,combining with the sensitive membrane of bacteria,damaging the integrity of the cell membrance. Zinc Bacitracin and penicillin,streptomycin,neomycin,aureomycin,polymyxin has synergistic antibacterial effect.This product is incompatible with Olaquindox,kitasamycin,virginiamycin,enramycin.

Function:

1) Inhibiting cytomemtranes synthesis and hindering the process of dephasphorization so as to affect phosphatide function and cell's transmission of mucopeptide compound.

2) Inhibiting protoplasmic function and integrating protoplasm with cytomembrane so as to canes the discharge of various ions, amino acids, pyridines and purines in the cell.

Application:

1) Bacitracin is used to prevent minor skin infections caused by small cuts, scrapes, or burns, Bacitracin works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria, It belongs to a class of drugs known as antibiotics
