Phlorizin is a light yellow fine powder. Rhizoxin is the glucoside of rhizoxin. Dihydrochalcone of flavonoids.

Rhizoxin is extracted from apples, tree bark and leaves. It is a phenol in apple trees. Rhizoposide is a kind of glycoside formed by the combination of rhizoxin and glycosides. Its degradation product, rhizophenol, can effectively inhibit the action of microbial activities. Clinical studies at home and abroad show that rhizoxin has a good effect in treating diabetes.
