Oleanolic acid is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent, which is clinically used for protecting liver and reducing enzymes, treating bronchitis, pneumonia, acute tonsillitis, periodontitis, bacillary dysentery, acute gastroenteritis, and urinary tract infections. In addition, it is also used clinically to treat acute hepatitis.
