Sodium hydroxide has strong absorption properties in room temperature. After absorbing moisture, it reacts with carbon dioxide in the air and turns into sodium carbonate. It can react with metal tin, zinc and aluminum and become sodium stannate, zinc acid sodium and aluminum acid and give out hydrogen simultaneously. It has strong corrosive, which can burn human skin and eyes. Before work, one must wear uniform and gloves and other necessary anti-corrosion protection articles. If they splashed or dissolve into the skin or the eye, one should flush with water immediately. It is the best to take to hospital immediately if the eye is injured. According to the product’s characteristics, it should be used immediately after the package is open, so as to avoid moisture absorption. Please pay attention to shorten the product storage period.
