Chloranil is a YELLOW-GREEN POWDER.There is an unpleasant persistent scent. Sublimation. Insoluble in water, hardly soluble in cold ethanol, cold petroleum ether, soluble in ether, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride and carbon disulfide. It can be used as a non-systemic fungicide for the sterilization of seeds, grains, peanuts, vegetables, cotton and beans. It can also be used as dye intermediates, pesticide raw materials and leather industry.

Function & Application
1. This product is used as a vulcanizing agent for natural rubber, butyl synthetic rubber, nitrile rubber and neoprene.
2. Mainly used in the manufacture of butyl rubber inner tubes, tires, vulcanized capsules, heat-resistant products, insulated wires, etc.
3. This product is used to manufacture anti-malignant tumor drugs, imine, cancer, and diuretic, and manufacture diuretic anti-pharmaceutical; it is also used as dye intermediate and agricultural seed dressing.
4. Used as an oxidant and insecticide. Used in tetrachloroguanidine electrode manufacturing and organic synthesis.
5. Used as a photochromic reagent for the determination of isoniazid. Also used in organic synthesis, tetrachloroguanidine electrode preparation.
