Introduction Chitosanase is a white to slightly yellow powder. Chitosanase is an RP protein that can improve plant disease resistance. At the same time, chitosanase is used to degrade some fungal cell walls to identify the fine structure of the cell wall, which can more effectively control pathogenic bacteria and improve crop yield. Therefore chitosanase can be used as a biological control agent in agricultural applications.
Uses Chitosanase can be used in the preparation of chitosan oligosaccharides in industry. Because CO's has better water solubility and is more conducive to human absorption, CO's can be used as additives in the food industry; CO's can be used in medicine, diagnostic Chemicalbook reagents, etc. It has very attractive prospects, especially CO's with a degree of polymerization of 5 and 6 have strong anti-infection and tumor-inhibiting activities; CO's have antibacterial effects, which can antagonize plant pathogens and induce plants to produce antibacterial substances. However, it is very difficult to produce CO's (especially chitopentaose and hexasaccharide with strong physiological activity) by chemical synthesis, with low yield, high production cost and easy environmental pollution.
