Chitosan, also known as deacetylation chitin, is obtained by deacetylation of chitin, which is widely existed in nature. Its property belongs to polymer material, which is widely concerned by all sectors of society, and also widely used in medicine, food, cosmetics, water treatment, recycling and other aspects.

Chitosan has many unique properties, such as biodegradation, cell affinity and biological effect. Especially chitosan with free amino group is the only basic polysaccharide in natural polysaccharide

Chitosan has two mechanisms to lower cholesterol. One is to prevent the absorption of fat, the other is to excrete the cholesterol in human blood.

Function:

1. In Food Field. Preservatives, flocculant, and the adsorption of cadmium in water, Making beverage, food additive, supplements.

2. In Industrial Field. Industrial waste water treatment, textile areas, such as textile finishing, health underwear, paper additives etc.
